St Prophyrios Havura
In collaboration with Gideon Lazar of the YouTube channel The Byzantine Scotist we have set up a group of Hebrew Catholics who wish to pray for and donate to the Holy Family Parish in Gaza, which was tragically hit by a wayward IDF munition on 17 July 2025.

Pray For Our Brothers

Lord Jesus Christ (or Yeshua HaMashiach),
On the night before You suffered, You prayed that Your disciples might be one, just as You and Your Father are one, so that the world would believe that He sent You. You told Your disciples that the whole world will know who Your disciples are by the love they have for one another.
Upon the cross, You tore down the barrier between Jew and Gentile, so that they could be one body in You. Now that land upon which You shed your blood is divided by great emnity between Jew and Gentile.
We, Your Jewish disciples, wish to show the world Your love by praying for Your Gentiles disciples who are now suffering in Gaza and throughout the whole Holy Land. We know we are unworthy, and we know no peace can possibly come through earthly powers, so we turn to You, the Prince of Peace. May they be granted peace from all those who week to harm them. We ask especially for:

And may those who are not yet Your disciples, both Jew and Gentile, come to the knowledge of the truth.
We ask this of You, together with Your eternal Father and your all-holy, good, and life-creating Spirit, both now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.
עוֹשֶׂה שָׁלוֹם בִּמְרוֹמָיו הוּא יַעֲשֶׂה שָׁלוֹם עָלֵינוּ וְעַל כָּל יִשְׂרָאֵל וְאִמְרוּ: אָמֵן
